DIY Binki and Mitten Clips

Want a creative and easy gift idea for the expecting mother or young kids! Look no further because these are just about the easiest thing you can create! Ok..ok..maybe that's a little over the top, but seriously I started making these and couldn't stop! I am always looking for creative items to make as gifts that are easy to make.

When little E was born we could not go anywhere without that binki. I know some of you understand..how tragedy struck whenever we forgot it! However, as organized as I am binki's and mittens for that matter always seem to get lost in this house. So here is a way to make your own changeable binki and mitten clips. Using ribbon of your choice you can make a bunch of them and then change them to match whatever their wearing.

Supplies:
Ribbon (one inch wide ribbon works best)
Iron on velcro (found in the sewing supply section of Joann's
Mitten clips (also found in the sewing supply section of Joann's)
Iron

Interchangeable Binki Clips:

Measure and cut your Ribbon. (hint: I cut my ribbon with pinking shears so it wouldn't fray)
Place sticky side of velcro onto ribbon, turn ribbon over and iron on.
Make sure to leave enough room between the velcro for the binki and clip to fit.

so cute...

Mitten Clips:

Follow the same steps for the binki clips except make this ribbon much shorter.
