Peanut Butter Pie Heaven

Thanksgiving is coming! I made some peanut butter pie (x's 3) this week and it is currently waiting in my freezer to be consumed later. It is not "pie" in the sense that you normally think of (the kind you put in the oven) or 3.14. The recipe is really easy to make and it doesn't take very long to whip up. Here is what you need for 1 pie:

1 Oreo Crust
1 Jar of Hot Fudge
1 8 oz Whip Cream
2 Cups Peanut Butter (usually 1 jar)
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Bar of Cream Cheese

First, I prepared the crust. Heat up the jar of hot fudge until the fudge becomes mailable. Spread a layer of hot fudge on the crust, using a spoon to get the outer edges. Be careful when spreading the fudge on the oreo crust because it is very fragile.

Once you have covered the entire crust, place the crust in the refrigerator to allow the fudge to harden slightly while you mix together the other ingredients.

Mix together the peanut butter, cream cheese, milk, and sugar. Once this mix is broken down, add the whip cream. Mix until creamy.

Spread the mix into the pie crust.

Top with extra hot fudge and place in the freezer overnight. This is a very rich dessert. The pie mix comes out just like an ice cream consistency, only more delicious.

Jenn's Angry Moment of the Week: Coming home after a long day of work to find that my husband had dried his hands on a bathroom towel and left it on the floor.

Jenn's Happy Moment of the Week: Making peanut butter pie while angry about the towel incident and then realizing afterward how ridiculous it was to be angry.
