...it must be something about summer freedom, picnic food and little kids with bathing suit wedgies runnin' round that makes me cherish this time of year :) ...a couple of Sundays during the summer are spent at our favorite lake with family & friends...by the time we're done eating, swimming, playing ping-pong, basketball, eating some more (we're Italian), fishing and throwing water balloons at people...we're pooped...but always going home with big smiles & pebbles in many unexpected places :) ...my younger daughter stated just that in the bath after we got home..."how in the world did these teeny-tiny little rocks hide everywhere?!" ...i thought of the verse in Luke when Jesus says "if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."(19:40)...wow!! if we as His creation refuse to praise Him, even the rocks & stones will cry out to His Glory!...the beauty of the lake and all of nature so ripe these warm summer days, points us to His handiwork & reminds me we were made for more than bathing suit wedgies....we were made to praise Him ♥
